Unable to print from microsoft publisher
I am using the Office subscription on my PC and today for the first time I cannot print to my printer, I am just getting blank pages. Also won't print from a PDF either but will from Word. You might need to reset your default printer. To choose a default printer, select the Start button and then Settings. Then select Set as default. If the printer you use is not set as the default then just check it. If it is checked then select another printer, even the XPS, set it as a default, then go back and reset your original default.
You might need to update the printer driver. Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are having issues printing from Microsoft publisher on your HP Envy printer. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue. To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details?
Have you recently made any changes on the printer before the issue started? How is the printer connected? Are you able to print from other programs such as Word, excel, notepad? In the meantime, let's try these steps here:. Perform a Hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Remove USB cable, if present. Wait for minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge. Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer. Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
This is to verify if issue is related to Publisher or is it related to Printer. If you are able to print from other programs and not just from this particular program, I would suggest here is to uninstall and reinstall this App Microsoft Publisher. If the issue persists with other applications as well, then it could be an issue with the drivers, then I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers. Still have the problem. It also will not save a document in any format.
All other MS Office products work just fine. Publisher and Windows 10 are up to date. I can do any thing I want in Publisher except get output in any form, print or saved, through any physical or software printer. Was there a fix found for this? I am having this exact issue with the latest windows update, but am using publisher Have had issues with printer not working after windows updates in the past, but cant find a fix this time.
